Echoes, by
graphic artist Gary Havard, takes you through 100 years
of military history and tradition at the University of Texas
at Arlington. Over the years uniforms, architecture, and
names have changed, but in this painting, a legacy is forever
captured in the echoes of the cadets.

CCAC Executive Committee Officer Elections took place
in April. See
the new CCAC Officers.
Bob Irish is this year's Distinguished Alumni
candidate, nominated by the CCAC and the Military
Science Department. Bob will be formally inducted
as a distinguished Alum of UTA at the October 16,
2010 Distinguished Alumni Gala hosted by the UTA Alumni
Association. For more informantion contact the Alumni
Office at sathompson@uta.edu.
The 2010 Endowed Scholarships have been awarded to
Cadets Foley Rovello and Jeremy
Potts. Each cadet was awarded a $500 scholarship
for the Fall of 2010.
Cadet Captain Jorge Lemus won the
Preston A. Weatherred award and a framed copy of Cadet
Echoes. |
Distinguished Almuni Gala
this year will be on October 16, 2010 at the UTA Student
Center.
